    Hey Mazurkin, these paintings really are fantastic, I have to ask because this is something I've been curious about for some painters. I'd really appreciate a response if you have the time.

    Do you enjoy the whole process throughout the paintings you do? I've gotten to a point where I'm halfway through school and am starting to think art might not be for me in terms of a career, I put a lot of work into learning how to paint, but i've just been getting so bored these days after the initial idea is down on the canvas and it almost feels like a struggle to finish pieces, and I usually stop caring to find reference to make images get to a professional looking level, even though I know I am skillfully capable. So was your enjoyment something that changed over time or was it always kind of there?

      Thank you!
      Yes, I started to enjoy during the work process just recently. But earlier, when I've been learning, I had to perform many tasks, which I did not like. On the one hand, I needed to get experience of drawing and skills, but on the other hand, I didn't always like what I drew, the result was not very good and it always took me too much time (how I thought). My teachers helped me a lot. They taught me patience. It was hard lessons, but I have no feeling of regret about the years of study. When I've obtained skills enough and became free in choice of the drawing's object, I started to enjoy the process.
      It was a very long way :-)
